Northeastern University is requiring users to update the Duo Mobile app due to a vendor‑mandated change.

Duo has announced an upcoming enforcement that will block authentication for unsupported versions of the Duo Mobile app. To avoid disruptions, all users must update Duo Mobile to a supported version by March 31, 2026.

If the app is not updated by this deadline, Duo push notifications will stop working, which will prevent access to Northeastern systems that use Duo for multi‑factor authentication.
